Problem Accented characters are a pain to type even with a dedicated keyboard. You can remember numeric codes! Or you can peck at a list somewhere and paste in.

Closed and dry

Scattered showers are a bloody nuisance when you want to put clothes out on the line to dry. 95% of the day is fine but all that can be undone by the other 5%. The answer is ever so simple if you’re on hand when it looks like rain. For those of us who work at home on the computer we can track the arrival and estimate the duration of showers on the weather radar.

It took me 5 minutes to make a shower hood out of nothing more than a couple of polythene sacks and another couple to twig that you have to load up the line in a certain way.
